Vegetables under béchamel

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • Mixed vegetables - we recommend Brussels sprouts, carrots,
  • parsley, broccoli, cauliflower 500 g
  • Wheat flour 2 tbsp
  • Butter 40 g
  • Milk 300 ml
  • Nutmeg ¼ tsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  • Prepare vegetables, peel and cut them into small dices.
  • Melt butter in a pan, add flour and fry over a low heat, stirring continuously.
  • Add milk and stir vigorously to avoid lumps.
  • Season to taste with pepper, salt and nutmeg.
  • Transfer the vegetables to a heatproof dish, pour in the hot sauce and bake on the Steam cooking / P01S cycle until the sauce is lightly brown.
