Ingredients (serves 4)
- Hard, sour apples 6 pcs.
- Raisins 3 tbsp
- Cinnamon ½ tsp
- Lemon ½ pcs.
- Cider vinegar optionally to taste
- Sugar 5 tbsp
- Butter 2 tbsp
Method:
- Peel and dice apples, sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Soak raisins in warm water.
- In a frying pan, fry half of the apples in butter, adding cinnamon and sugar. After about 10 minutes, add the other half of the apples and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Pour the mixture into jars, close tightly and pasteurize by setting Reheating and pasteurization / P03S cycle.
Chef's suggestion:
Steaming jars in the oven protects preserves for a long time. Sour products will have a shelf life of up to one year.
