Ingredients (serves: 2)
- Baby carrots 1 kg
- Salt 1 tbsp
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Butter ¼ pack
- Honey 3 tbsp
- Sugar 2 tbsp
Method:
- Peel carrots, but keep the leaves cutting them to about 2 cm long.
- Cook the carrots for 15 minutes in salted water.
- Turn on Melting cycle (40°C) on your Amica induction hob.
- Pour olive oil into a pan and add butter. Wait until it is well combined.
- Add cooked carrots, fry on the hob for 20 minutes until the carrots have absorbed the oil.
- Pour honey over the carrots, sprinkle with sugar and fry again for 20 minutes so they are covered in caramel.
Serving:
An ideal dish as an appetizer or snack. The green leaves will not get browned, keeping the carrots looking fresh all the time.
