Ingredients (serves 4)
- Aubergine 1 pcs.
- Courgette 1 pcs.
- Carrot 1 pcs.
- Onion 1 pcs.
- Peppers 2 pcs.
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Tomato puree 2 tbsp
- Thhyme 1 pcs.
- Salt, pepper, sugar to taste
Method:
- Wash, peel and finely dice or slice the vegetables.
- Fry carrots with onions and tomato puree in hot butter.
- Transfer the fried vegetables to a bowl and mix them with the remaining vegetables.
- Place the vegetables and season with salt, pepper and sugar in a roasting tin.
- Bake ratatouille on the Grill + Steam cooking / P08S cycle and cook for approx. 35 minutes (turn off the oven before the cycle ends).
Chef's suggestion:
Adding a little honey instead of sugar will improve the flavour of the dish. The vegetables prepared this way are suitable as a side dish.
