Ingredients (serves 4)
- Red onions 2 pcs.
- Pepper 1 pcs.
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Curry dy spice 1tbsp
- Buckwheat 500 g
- White rice 500 g
- Water 1 l
- Sweet paprika 1 tbsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Finely dice onions and cut mushrooms into quarters.
- Fry in butter with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Transfer to an heatproof dish.
- Add groats, stir, pour in water and season to taste.
- Steam on the Steam cooking / P01S cycle for 40 minutes.
- Garnish with your favourite herb - parsley, thyme or marjoram.
Chef's suggestion:
When frying the onions, gently caramelise them until golden. Fried onions bring sweetness and flavour to the dish. Caution - heavily caramelised onions can make the dish taste bitter.
