Ingredients (serves 2)
Ribs
- Strips baby backribs 2 pcs.
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- Water 1 cup
Barbecue sauce
- Ketchup 1 cup
- Cider vinegar ¼ cup
- Honey ¼ cup
- Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp
- Dijon mustard 1 tbsp
- Smoked paprika 1 tsp
- Granulated garlic 1 tsp
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Method:
- Wash the ribs, dry them with a paper towel and cut them in half.
- Turn on the grilling cycle (200°C) on your Amica induction hob.
- Heat a sauté pan and add olive oil. Add salt and pepper and fry the ribs for about 3 minutes, on both sides.
- Add a cup of water and turn on the simmering (90°C) cycle on the Amica induction hob.
- Cook the ribs until tender, about 2 hours.
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the barbecue sauce - a glass of ketchup, 1/4 cup of cider vinegar, 1/4 cup of honey, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, a tablespoon of Dijon mustard, a teaspoon of smoked paprika, a teaspoon of granulated garlic, salt and pepper.
- Remove the ribs from a sauté pan and put them on a grill pan.
- Turn on the grilling cycle (200°C) on the Amica induction hob.
- Coat the ribs with the BBQ sauce and grill for 4-5 minutes.
Serving:
Cut the ribs between the bones and serve with the remaining BBQ sauce.
Chef's suggestion:
To check if the ribs are ready - stick a fork between the bones, if it goes in easily - the ribs are perfect.
