Root vegetables caramelised in linden honey with spices

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • Carrots 3 pcs.
  • Parsley roots 2 pcs.
  • Red onions 2 pcs.
  • Garlics 2 pcs.
  • Sweet potato (yam) 1 pcs.
  • Salt, pepper, rosemary to taste
  • Honey 2 tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp


  • Peel vegetables, cut into slices or bars as preferred.
  • Mix with spices, honey and butter.
  • Roast, steam on Steam cooking + Grill / P02S cycle for 40 min.
  • Season to taste.

Chef's suggestion:

Roasted vegetables retain more nutrients, minerals and vitamins than cooked vegetables. This is because they stay in the vegetables and do not pass into their water. When you add honey, it will caramelise and intensify the flavour of the vegetables. If you roast garlic, you will get rid of its pungent taste and it will make a better addition to spreads, roasted or grilled meat.
