Ingredients (serves 2)
Stew
- Pork (best pork neck or shoulder) 500 g
- ale 1 pcs.
- Rapeseed oil 3 tbsp
- Onion 1 pcs.
- Garlic cloves 3 pcs.
- Chili 1 pcs.
- Vegetable or beef stock ½ l
- Soy sauce
- Worcestershire sauce
- Cider vinegar
- Sweet paprika
- Honey
- Salt and pepper
- Wheat flour
- Red peppers 2 pcs.
- Cream 18%
- Parsley
Potatoes
- Potatoes 1 kg
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Salt
Method:
- Wash and dice the meat, season gently with salt and pepper.
- To prepare the marinade, pour the soy sauce into a bowl, add sweet paprika. Marinate the meat for about 30 minutes.
- Finely dice the onion, garlic and chili peppers.
- Turn on the grilling cycle (200°C) on your Amica induction hob.
- Preheat the pot and add olive oil.
- Fry the onion, garlic and chili peppers for 1 minute. Add the meat and continue to fry.
- Pour stock and half of ale over the meat.
- Turn on the simmering cycle (90°C) on the Amica induction hob.
- Add the chopped peppers.
- Season the stew with wostercestershire sauce, honey, vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Thicken the stew with flour and water.
- Cover the pot and cook until the meat is tender - about 2h.
Serving:
Serve with mashed potatoes with butter and salt and garnish with parsley and freshly ground pepper.
Chef's suggestion:
The variant with ale beer tastes much better. It is recommended not to substitute it for regular beer.
